Elephant Lakshmi dies in Mukoodal

A 54-year-old female elephant, Lakshmi, died at Mukoodal in the district on Sunday. The elephant was owned by one Dawood Meeran (50) of Ravanasamudram, near Ambasamudram, for the last five years.
